Plaster Hands

These are plaster hand casts, that I mounted on steel pipe, with the idea that I could somehow start a collection, and mount the hands in some sort of device that would allow them to rotate and be put at different angles, so that they could be drawn. I haven't built the device yet, and I stopped casting hands, as I got distracted by the possibility of casting an entire arm, for which I built a form out of sewer pipe, but I think it wouldn't be possible to pull my arm out of the alginate once it set up, so I haven't tried.
I've made more than I've drawn, but the idea is a good one.
